Ah, medieval words. They are such a joy to learn. Today, I have a word for you that means-or meant then-to be confused or puzzled. Here it is:
PITCHKETTLED
Goodness, what a word! I stumbled across it doing some research and have not forgotten it. And as your fast Medieval Monday fact, I thought giving us a word we could use, mayhap daily, would be very fun.
Before you rush about on this busy Monday and week to come, prepare yourself for things to come. Good or bad. That way, you will not find yourself PITCHKETTLED.
